U6EE: classic sprites, seen from a new perspective
The Fighter’s shield, Lord British’s colours and the creatures of Britannia are still the starting point. The new U6EE gallery puts original graphics beside upright adaptations, offering a different view of the same world.

Identity starts with the original sprite
Classic and Classic enhanced now contain 33 shared body types. Guards, mages, villagers, the Avatar and Lord British join gargoyles, skeletons, trolls, headless, drakes, serpents and other inhabitants. The Fighter retains its characteristic shield.
Appearance follows the original game’s body type. Different characters who shared a sprite still share the same artwork in Classic. These images adapt perspective; they are neither exact copies of the original pixels nor personal redesigns for every NPC.
The gallery lets you filter people, creatures, animals and vegetation, search names and turn through four directions. It shows integrated artwork enlarged for comparison. This does not mean every combat, damage, rest or equipment state is complete.
Art review on November 2: the Fighter has a kite shield and straight sword; Lord British has no red sash; the Avatar has black hair; guards wear mail coifs; the swashbuckler wears a green vest over a red tunic and carries two swords; the jester juggles blue balls. Gargoyles retain red faces with hollowed features, the Troll has a distinct face and horns, the Mongbat has arms and hands separate from its wings, the spider has eight legs and the snake has one continuous body in front view. The two swamp shrubs were corrected without blue flowers.

Trees with trunks, plants with character
Six tree presentations and seven plants and bushes were guided by the native graphics. Overhead crowns gave way to upright trees with visible trunks and branches; smaller trees, dark crowns, dead trees and low foliage keep their differences.
Cats, sheep, dogs, deer and wolves have also joined the Classic art catalogue, shared by species. Their scales are first-person presentation choices; position, collision and rules remain under the original engine’s authority.
Renewed terrain follows the original curves
Modern terrain now uses masks derived from the original graphics to blend grass, earth and banks. Mixed path tiles retain their curves, while banks no longer receive an entire tile of sand.
Neighbouring terrain context also keeps transitions continuous at chunk boundaries. The change was compared in the reported test area; other biomes and shore types still need review.

More original systems in first person
Beyond the visual work, the local alpha already exercises topic dialogue with portraits and keywords, a visual backpack with item dragging, equipment, individual party control, object interactions and a set of 24 of the original 80 spells.
Classic, Classic enhanced and Renewed pixel art can be switched within the same game. Grid and free movement, remappable controls and independent exterior roof details are available as presentation options.
An important correction, with clear limits
Access to already removed objects during a visual-profile update was corrected, addressing a condition that could interrupt exploration. The regression retired chunks during updates and checked replacement stages; the round also passed 491 Python tests and Godot/Nuvie checks.
The complete campaign, world-wide performance, memory in extended sessions and other states remain under validation. U6EE is still a local alpha: this website update does not announce a download or a new public release.
